Bustling Bentleigh!


The Astute Buyers Advocate team visited Bentleigh over the weekend, to establish a good understanding of the area and the homes on the market.

It was a sunny day and the shopping street was bustling with families, cafe goers, men & women leaving the gym & of course, the piano man! He played on a rainbow decorated piano, underneath the 'bandstand' on Centre Road with a few onlookers listening and encouraging for more. The feeling of community was strong. We thought, what a lovely place to live!

Bentleigh is located just 15kms south-east of the CBD and just under 5kms away from Brighton beach. Bentleigh has an abundance of parks & schools, making it a great place for families to live. Centre Road is the main shopping strip, and provides all the amenities.

Bentleigh is connected well to the city, providing two train stations, Patterson & Bentleigh station.

There is a mix of old and new homes found in Bentleigh, however on our sunny Saturday in Bentleigh, we visited 3 newer builds, including 2 family homes & a penthouse apartment.

The median property price for a 3 bedroom home in Bentleigh is, $1,355,250. The median rental yield for a 3 bedroom property is $581 per week.

We took a break at a lovely local cafe, Little Tommy Tucker. It was full to the brim, with families & solos. The food was mouthwatering & the coffee just perfect.
